Agent Brooks works for the FBI in the Counter Intelligence Division with Stan Beeman. Little is known about his personal life but he has a significant other named Emily, smokes and likes beer. |
Biography[]
Season One[]
| Brooks is at the party Stan Beeman has at his house where Frank Gaad announces that in retribution for the murder of three FBI agents, Arkady is going to be killed. He's part of the team assembled to kidnap Arkady jogging in a park. When only Vlad Kosygin shows, an abort signal is given which Stan disobeys, despite Brooks insisting he abort. ("Safe House") He's in the surveillance van with Gaad as the FBI set a trap for Directorate S around the Weinberger bug. ("The Colonel")

Season Two[]
| He was instrumental in identifying Bruce Dameran as the walk-in at the Rezidentura. ("Cardinal") Stan assigns him and Agent Loeb to start looking into Anton Baklanov after he disappears. Brooks is part of the surveillance net and drives a car that follows Oleg Burov. ("The Deal") Stan listens to Brooks and Agent Samuels discuss a book about betrayal in MI5. ("New Car") He reports to Agent Gaad and Stan that Jared is missing. ("Echo")

Season Three[]
| At the briefing given by the Deputy Attorney General on defector on Zinaida, Brooks asks Stan what the US-Canada Institute is. ("EST Men") At FBI HQ, Stan arranges for Zinaida's hotel room while Brooks asks her about the US-Canada Institute. ("Baggage") In the wake of the bug being found in Agent Gaad's office, Brooks, Martha and Gene discuss the questioning of staff by Walter Taffet. ("Divestment")

Season Four[]
| As Martha makes copies of the surveillance reports of William Crandall, Brooks tells another agent that he had a beer with Gene and thought he was disturbed. ("Glanders") Brooks tells Stan and Agent Aderholt that they've found two "Clark Westerfelds" and that one living in Atlanta is a suspect. Stan asks Brooks to have all FBI offices check for Clark Westerfeld death certificates. ("The Rat") In "the vault", Brooks reports that Martha is on the phone with her parents. ("Travel Agents") He's part of the task force assembled to find Martha Hanson when it's revealed she's a spy. ("Travel Agents") After Martha is exfiltrated, he reports another failure trying to locate her. ("The Magic of David Copperfield V: The Statue of Liberty Disappears")

| In November 1987, after Gennadi and Sofia defect, Brooks picks up Ilia from school. ("Urban Transport Planning") On Thanksgiving, he brings sweet potatoes into "the vault" for the agents working on surveiling Dan Murton, aka "Harvest." ("Rififi") He's part of the team listening to Aderholt give an update on the botched "Harvest" operation. ("Harvest") He listens to Loeb give a report on surveilling garages and Agent Ganzel report that Father Andrei may be a spy. Looking at sketches of the various disguises used by the Jennings, Brooks asks if the ones from 1981 were shown to Alejandro. ("The Summit") Aderholt re-assigns all agents, including Brooks, to surveil garages suspected of being used by the Illegals. ("Jennings, Elizabeth") |
