Agent Loeb works for the FBI in the Counter Intelligence Division with Stan Beeman. Little is known about his personal life but he used to work in the Criminal Investigations Division (CID).

Biography

Season One

Loeb is part of the task force to locate a bomber who blew up a scientist's car. After Agent Milbank and several other agents are blown up, Loeb says he worked for six years with him in CID. After Agent Amador asks what's going to be done in retailiation and Agent Gaad doesn't give a definitive response, Loeb asks if they're supposed to act like nothing happened. ("Mutually Assured Destruction")

Season Two

Stan assigns him and Agent Brooks to start looking into Anton Baklanov after he disappears. ("The Deal")

Season Three

After Charlotte, a CIA contact of Elizabeth's, decides to turn Elizabeth in, Loeb gets a description of Elizabeth (in disguise) from Charlotte. ("EST Men")

Season Four

He's part of the task force assembled to find Martha Hanson when it's revealed she's a spy. ("Travel Agents") He shows Stan fingerprints from Martha's apartment including "Clark Westerfeld's" which aren't in any database. ("The Magic of David Copperfield V: The Statue of Liberty Disappears") After Agent Aderholt pulls Stan into "the vault" and tells him about Gaad's death, Loeb knocks on the door and tells them that Agent Wolfe has an announcement to make. ("Munchkins")

After Aderholt discovers the bug in the Mail Robot, Loeb and Agent Ganzel monitor it and arrest a janitor who is switching out the tapes. He's part of the team led by Stan trying to find a KGB source in a lab that makes pathogens. He gives Stan the employee list for Foster Medical Lab which they later discover William Crandall works at and is the KGB source. ("A Roy Rogers in Franconia")

Freeze!

In November 1987, after KGB Illegal Dan Murton, aka "Harvest" is found and surveilled, Loeb tells Stan and Aderholt how the Illegals rent garages to maintain the cars used in their operations. ("Rififi") He gives Stan an update on a company the FBI is getting records from while Agent Ganzel looks on. ("Harvest") Loeb gives an update on surveilling garages the Illegals could be using. ("The Summit") Loeb reports to Aderholt that Oleg may have picked up a dead drop. Aderholt orders that he be stopped and searched. ("Jennings, Elizabeth")
