Bob Tanner is a neighbor of the Jennings. He lives with his wife Christy, and their young son, Doug, on Circle Drive in Falls Church, VA. Henry Jennings spies on the Tanner family using the new telescope he got for his birthday. In March 1982, they leave for vacation, and Henry lets himself into their house so he can play video games. They return from vacation to find him asleep on their couch, with the game machine still running.
