The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is a governmental agency that is part of the United States Department of Justice that serves as both a federal criminal investigative body and an internal intelligence agency, Counter Intelligence (CI). It is headquartered at 935 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, D.C. CI is located on the fifth floor. The FBI has over 50 field offices. Its first appearance is in the Season One episode "Pilot".
