Gregory Thomas was a former black civil rights activist whom Elizabeth had recruited to work for the KGB.
Elizabeth and he had a relationship while she was married to Philip, leading to relationship problems for Phillip and Elizabeth later down the track.
He was killed in a shootout with the cops.
