Matthew Beeman is the son of FBI agent Stan Beeman and Sandra Beeman. He was 21 years old in 1987. ("Mr. and Mrs. Teacup")
He has a close relationship with his mother and sings and plays a guitar in a garage band. He enjoys going to screenings of the "Rocky Horror Picture Show."
Upon initially meeting Paige Jennings, it is clear that he likes her and by 1983, he has grown close to her, which causes tension with the Jennings. Although they are dating by 1984, Paige calls off their relationship since she feels it will go nowhere due to her parents' real profession, but she does not tell him this.
He is not seen during the final season but Stan mentions to Philip he has a girlfriend that he's moving in with.
